This work explores an urban canal transformed into a mental space, where water becomes a medium for memory rather than a simple element of the landscape. The rigorous lines of the architecture guide the eye toward a deep perspective, while the superimposition of colors and textures alters the perception of the place. The setting seems both familiar and out of place, as if viewed through the filter of a memory. The trees, frozen in an unreal light, frame the scene and reinforce the impression of suspended time. The water, at the center of the composition, acts as a silent boundary between two banks, two states, two moments. The chromatic treatment accentuates this tension, shifting reality towards an almost dreamlike vision. This photograph offers a reflection on the human trace in urban space, on the way in which places continue to exist within us even when they seem immobile. It is aimed at contemporary art lovers who are sensitive to visual narratives, reinterpreted architecture, and landscapes where reality is transformed into an inner experience.
